Get Me Staff Recruitment now offer Driver CPC training courses for
all drivers.
Our Partner, Defensive Driver Training Limited undertakes the
periodic training at our offices in Stourbridge, in 5 seven hour
sessions averaging out to one per year. Courses can be undertaken
Monday to Friday and at weekends, Saturday or Sunday to suit.
Get Me Staff have secured a discounted price of £77.00 plus VAT for
any driver per course.
This is discounted to £65.00 plus VAT for Get Me
Staff Drivers, who have worked for Get Me Staff within three months
prior to the courses.
We fully understand that this training is not a legal
requirement to be completed until 2014, but it IS A LEGAL
REQUIREMENT and it needs to be done.
As with everything, there is supply and demand, and
it is estimated that the cost of training WILL rise to over THREE
TIMES THE COST in early 2013 and throughout 2014.
Also, there is the loss of work for a whole week,
(five day course, seven hours a day) 1 weeks wage = £350 course,
£231+VAT. That’s £600 minimum to find all in one go.
GOVERNMENT
FUNDING
The agency that
funds training in England is the Learning and Skills Council (LSC).
The LSC rulings specifically exclude funding for mandatory industry
training. This means that Periodic Training of driver CPC DOES NOT
QUALIFY for any public funding
